Use the form below to reach Taipei Tourism Guide. It goes straight to the inbox of the person who runs the site — not a ticketing queue — and every genuine message gets read.
What we can help with
Corrections. The most useful message you can send. A price that has gone up, an MRT exit number that changed, a restaurant that closed, a museum shut for renovation, a festival date that is wrong. Tell us which guide it is on and what you actually saw, and it gets checked and fixed. If you were in Taipei recently, you know something we do not.
Gaps. If you planned a Taipei trip and could not find the answer to something here, that is worth knowing. Several guides on this site exist because somebody said the information was missing.
Press, syndication and image licensing. Enquiries about republishing or quoting material from the site.
Copyright. If you believe something here infringes your rights, write in with the specific page and the material in question and it will be dealt with promptly.
What we cannot help with
Taipei Tourism Guide is a publisher, not a travel agency. We cannot book hotels, buy high speed rail or MRT tickets, reserve restaurant tables, arrange tours or hot spring passes, or take payment of any kind. If a guide sends you to a booking site or a venue’s own page, that is where the transaction belongs.
We also cannot advise on visas, entry requirements or immigration status. Those change, they depend on your nationality, and getting them wrong has real consequences — check with Taiwan’s Bureau of Consular Affairs or your nearest Taipei Economic and Cultural Office rather than trusting a travel site, this one included.
For an emergency in Taiwan, do not write to us. Dial 110 for police or 119 for fire and ambulance. The 24-hour travel information hotline for foreign visitors is 0800-011-765.
Response times
This is a small operation, so replies take a few days rather than a few hours, and longer around Lunar New Year. Corrections are usually acted on faster than they are replied to — if you report something out of date, you may well see the page updated before you hear back.
The form asks for your email address because that is the only way we can reply. It is used for that and nothing else: no newsletter, no list, no passing it on. The privacy policy sets out exactly what happens to it.
A note on pitches
Hotels, restaurants, tour operators and agencies are welcome to write in with factual updates about their own business — new opening hours, a change of address, a correction to a price we have listed. That is genuinely useful.
Paid placements, sponsored posts, link insertions and “guest posts” are declined without exception, and we do not reply to those. Recommendations on this site are not for sale, and the guides are only worth reading for as long as that stays true.
